Viktoria and Jani Szukk are the only professional ballroom dance couple representing Kentucky in national and international competitions. As seasoned competitors and the owners of All That Dance studio in Louisville and now in La Grange, they have extensive teaching and performing backgrounds.

Viktoria’s love for dancing began when she was 5 years old. Her parents were 21 time Hungarian National Ballroom Dance Champions, so dancing was a lifestyle in which she excelled. Viktoria became the Hungarian National Champion in the Latin American dances in 1993 and was undefeated for five more years. Her success earned her a role as co-choreographer and main dancer with the first Hungarian team to make the finals in the Latin American Formation World Championship in 1993. Viktoria’s knowledge and reputation resulted in additional opportunities as a choreographer and featured dancer including a hit musical which played in two theatres for more than 200 performances over three years.

While coaching a high school team Viktoria met Jani who was clearly the most talented dancer in the group. They began working together and planning for the future. She moved to the United States in 2001. Jani followed her a year later. While working at the Fred Astaire Dance Studios in North Carolina for three years they became certified in the Bronze and Silver levels for both the Rhythm and Smooth styles. Viktoria and Jani placed 3rd in the Fred Astaire National Dance Championship.

While living in North Carolina they also were teaching at the University of North Carolina and awaiting their Green Cards to establish their resident status in the US. Upon receiving their Green Cards, Viktoria and Jani moved to Louisville, Kentucky and opened their own studio, All That Dance, which Viktoria manages. Since that time they have choreographed and organized three Dance Showcase Events, each with over 40 performances and over 400 spectators. They have performed twice with a nationally recognized band from Miami at the Multiple Sclerosis Center in Louisville. Jani and Viktoria have generated quite a following resulting in multiple teaching and performing opportunities at company, charity, and university events, and were recently featured in Today’s Woman Magazine. Their talent, passion, and skills are reflected in the success of their students who have earned many awards, won championships and scholarships at National Dance Council of America competitions.
